THE team at Clonakilty’s McCarthy & Co solicitors are finalists in this year’s Irish Law Awards 2016 – in two separate categories.
This is the fourth year the firm has reached the finals of the national awards for the legal profession, having been shortlisted for Legal Innovation in 2013 and having won the awards for Best Legal Website in 2014 and Best Small Firm in Munster in 2015.
This year the firm has again reached the finals in the Munster Provincial Law Firm of the Year ‘under 5 solicitors’ category.
But that is not the only award they have been nominated for this year. Managing partner Flor McCarthy’s book The Solicitor’s Guide to Marketing and Growing a Business has also reached the finals of the Irish Law Awards 2016 in the Law Book of the
‘McCarthy & Co. are nationwide specialists in personal injury and medical negligence litigation,’ said Flor. ‘These awards provide further recognition of the firm’s continuous striving for excellence in the provision of legal services.’
In late 2015, the firm was awarded the Q9000 Gold Standard Quality Assurance Mark by the Institute of Legal Research and Standards. It is the only firm in Munster to hold this standard and its 97% score places the firm first in the country for its size in this standard.
The finals of the Irish Law Awards take place on Friday, 6th May with a black-tie gala evening ceremony hosted by RTE’s Miriam O’Callaghan at the DoubleTree by Hilton on the Burlington Road in Dublin 4.
