The Abbeystrewry National School Christmas Sale will be held in Abbeystrewry Hall on Saturday, December 5th.

The Abbeystrewry National School Christmas Sale will be held in Abbeystrewry Hall on Saturday, December 5th.

The live crib will open at 11am, and there will be a blessing at 2.30pm, and Santa is slated to arrive at 11.30am so children are asked to have their letters ready. There will be lots going on in the hall throughout the day including a free bouncy castle, tombola, bottle stall, book stall, toy stall, home-baking including a multi-cultural section, Christmas crafts and much, much more.

There will be an opportunity to buy crafts made by the children.  Teas, coffees and cakes will be served from 11am and you can even stay for lunch and sample delicious homemade soup, sandwiches, and Indian food.

This year the organisers said the school community has been touched by the serious illness of two children: Milan Sumesh, who attended the school until he became ill, and Eva Aniulyte, who has a sibling in the school, so they are planning to donate a lot of the proceeds to these two worthy causes.
