The SCAR Duathlon, organised by Skibbereen Lions Club, takes place this Saturday with hundreds of participants taking part in the annual running and cycling event where all entry fees go to local good causes.

Motorists are asked to slow down and give a wide berth to cyclists around Castlehaven GAA pitch, Castletownshend, Tragumna, Baltimore Road, Old Court, Lough Hyne and Toe Head between 9.30am and 1.30pm.
