Children from schools throughout the city and county will perform songs, poems, dramas, dances and recitals.

In all, 52 schools will participate, with approximately 2,750 children taking to the stage.

It will include children from St Multose NS (Kinsale),  SN Chóbh Chion tSáile, Barryroe NS, Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin, (Ballincollig), Carrigaline Educate Together NS and Cloghroe NS.

Cór Fhéile na Scol has taken place for two weeks in Cork City Hall in the springtime for more than 65 years.

It is a fun non-competitive festival of music, dance and song for primary-school children that emphasises participation, inclusivity and equality. Teachers, children and parents put many hours into creating each individual 10-minute segment.

Great care is taken to ensure that each concert is an entertaining evening for all the children, parents, teachers and the Leeside community at large. All are welcome.
