It’s a social enterprise that provides information, solutions and advice tailored to the needs of different stakeholder in the community with the aim of making sustainability convenient. Starting with plastics as a gateway issue, they are educating and empowering people, communities and businesses to avoid single use plastics, to increase plastic recycling and to adopt sustainable alternatives, in order to improve well-being, reduce costs and protect the Irish environment.

On reaching the finalist stages of the competition they said: ‘We are thrilled to be selected for the SEI Awards programme which offers the mentoring, advice and funding we need to grow a movement on sustainability that creates positive, empowering and disruptive change in the way live our lives and do business.’

Of the 17, up to eight will go on to receive an initial €200,000 in funding and support for their projects for social change with potential for further investment and development opportunities.
