A group of his musician friends are coming together to show their support and raise funds for Mick, a talented bass player and drummer, who has been part of the music scene in the area for over 30 years and has played with amongst many others, The Thin Band, Max Von Rap, Ian Richards and The Soul Masters, The Donagh Long Band, Two Jacks and a Jill and more recently Chapter Two, as well as being a stalwart at various music sessions in venues locally.
The gig kicks off at 9pm this Friday 11th, and will feature the talents of Tony Davis, Brian Hennessy, Jeff Ward and Les Sampson as well as a host of guest performers on the night. There will also be a raffle and free finger food during what promises to be a great night of fun and music, and all for a good cause.
