THE Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town event is coming to Clonakilty, and local businesses, clubs and societies are encouraged to be part of it.
‘We’re encouraging local businesses and communities to make new connections. Our aim is to help people grow their local economies while helping to foster a renewed sense of purpose for the whole community,’ said a Bank of Ireland spokesperson.
The Enterprise Town Initiative has grown from one town to over 100 in just three years. The Business & Community Expo is a free event which brings together local enterprises – small and large – to showcase their business and to network with each other. Students from local schools participate, while seminars and advice clinics are given by a number of keynote speakers.
The Sports and Community Expo is a family day bringing together local sports and community groups to celebrate their achievements and also includes guest appearances from some local and national sporting heroes. There will be something planned for all age groups.
It will take place in Clonakilty Showgrounds on the weekend of May 13th to 14th.
