Cork County Council Library and Arts Service has announced a countywide programme of events to mark International Women’s Day 2026, which takes place on Sunday March 8th.

This year’s theme, Give to Gain, highlights the impact of collective support and the role communities play in creating opportunities for women and girls.

Libraries across Cork County will host talks, workshops and cultural activities celebrating women’s voices, achievements and wellbeing. Events begin on Thursday March 5th, and continue throughout the month.
