Donoughmore 1-25
Ballinora 0-5
CHAMPIONS Donoughmore, beaten in round one by Aghinagh, were in no mood to slip-up at Blarney and dispatched the Ballinora challenge in clinical fashion in this Group 1 tie.
Leading by 0-13 to 0-1 at half time, the outcome was already assured and a goal from Daniel Holland early in the second half wrapped up the victory.

Aghinagh 7-13
Kilmurry 0-10
The scoreline tells the story of this round two junior football Group 1 game at Kilmichael.
The Kilmurry second team was no match for last year’s beaten finalists Aghinagh who were simply way too good.
Con Buckley had an opening goal after three minutes and Mathew McCarthy had a second after ten minutes. Con Buckley on 13, Sean Cummins on 21 and Liam Twohig on 23 fired in further goals. It was 5-10 to 0-3 at half time.
Kilmurry tried hard to get back into contention after the interval but Aghinagh were fully focussed and added two more goals at the three-quarter stage, William Coakley and Con Buckley the scorers.
Joe Ryan was the main threat in the Kilmurry attack and finished with 0-5 to his credit but the game as a real contest was over before half time.

Grenagh 1-18
Dripsey 2-4
This was a clear-cut Group 2 victory for Grenagh. George Feeney had a well-taken goal for Dripsey after 45 seconds but thereafter it was mostly one-way traffic towards the Dripsey posts and Grenagh led by 0-8 to 1-2 at half time.
A black card for Dripsey’s Mark O’Connell was a severe blow and Grenagh added two points before Sean Joyce shot home a goal on 37.
There was no way back now for Dripsey and a late Eoghan Maher goal from the penalty spot was their only consolation.
