CLAIRE Kingston needs a bigger trophy cabinet.
The Newcestown camogie star has been named on the 2026 Electric Ireland Camogie Third Level Rising Stars Team of the Year, having helped UCC win the Ashbourne Cup.
For Kingston, it was her third Ashbourne Cup triumph in a row after previous successes with UL.

She was the Cork college’s lucky charm this campaign, as UCC ended a 23-year wait for the title.
‘Winning it with UCC this season made me realise how special it is because there are players on this team who had to wait a long time for a moment like this,’ Kingston told this paper after her latest Ashbourne success.
The UCC full back is one of seven players from the champions to make the team of the year. Defenders Méabh Murphy (Ballinora) and Órlaith Cremin (Éire Óg), midfielder Niamh McNabola (Cloughduv), and forwards Aoife Healy (Aghada), Sophie Pembroke (Gortnahoe Glengoole, Tipperary) and Sarah O'Brien (Templeglantine, Limerick) were also included.
