Round-up of the three South West U21 B football championship quarter-finals played on Saturday

THE semi-final line-up in the South West U21B football championship is now known after three quarter-finals were played on Saturday.

Ibane Gaels will take on Kilmacabea, while Bandon face Clann na nGael as the battle for the ‘B’ title leaves four teams in the hunt.

On Saturday, Ibane Gaels defeated Urhan 2-18 to 1-3 in a one-sided quarter-final, with Oisin Dowling and Daniel O’Driscoll scoring goals for Ibane, while Jack Cahalane and Mark Crowley kicked 0-11 between them.

In another quarter-final, Bandon, re-graded from A, were too strong for Bal as they won 2-14 to 0-6. Early goals from Jonathan Mulcahy (1-5) and Mark O’Regan (1-1) set Bandon on their way to an impressive win.

The other U21B quarter-final saw Cork U21 Don O’Driscoll score five goals as Clann na nGael beat Kilbrittain 5-7 to 0-5.
