THE Southern Star has recruited Nicole O’Riordan as digital marketing executive. Nicole, from Ballyvourney, has experience in e-commerce, social media, online marketing and web development, and joins the company with a brief to develop and drive digital revenue streams.
Managing director Sean Mahon said: ‘We’re delighted to welcome Nicole on board to further strengthen our team. As well as the biggest newspaper readership, we also have the biggest digital reach in West Cork, and have built a very responsive online audience over the last few years. Our website attracts in excess of 68,000 visitors monthly on average, while our social networks have an average audience reach of 72,000 people every week.
