There will be a road safety event in Bandon tomorrow, Friday October 16th.
The Road Safety Information Event, and Cycle Workshop, will be held at the Riverview Shopping Centre.
Present on the afternoon will be the Community Garda, the Road Safety Authority Education Officer, and staff from Cycle Sense.
The event will focus on Cycle Safety, Pedestrian Safety, and information on Car Seats and Seat Belts. High Visibility goods, and information leaflets will be available free of charge on the afternoon.
The event will take place from 4pm-5pm, and is geared towards families and children. Children can bring along their bicycles and participate in the Cycle Safely Workshop, if desired.
