Get inspired at Crookhaven’s Atlantic View for €395,000

This image gives an idea of the uninterrupted vistas that can be enjoyed from Atlantic View at Castlemehigan, Crookhaven. The site allows plenty of scope for expansion.

NO amount of adjectives will do justice to the sea views enjoyed from this week’s property.

‘Breathtaking’ and ‘spectacular’ will come close but aren’t quite enough to describe the panoramic and uninterrupted vistas at the most appropiately named ‘Atlantic View.’

The coastal residence is located on an elevated plot in Castlemehigan, Crookhaven, and comes with a price tag of €395,000.

Views to Cape Clear Island, Roaringwater Bay and Fastnet Rock also make this a unique property along with the fact that’s it’s a mile from the hugely popular Barley Cove beach and the picturesque harbour village of Crookhaven.

With two bedrooms and one bathroom, space isn’t enormous but potential for future development or expansion on what is a one-acre site is obvious.

The option also exists for Atlantic View to be used as a holiday home where recharging the batteries would come easily in such tranquil and natural surroundings.

Put it like this, if someone is looking for a spot to be inspired here would work very nicely.

The interior vibe is rustic and original. All the essentials are here but there’s plenty of scope for the new owner to put their stamp on the place.

The sitting room features a tiled floor and traditional half door with an open staircase to first floor mezzanine, one exposed stone wall, solid fuel stove with stone hearth and vaulted ceiling.

A kitchen/dining room is equally as charming and enjoys some of the property’s most enchanting views but in truth all rooms share a glimpse of the magic.

Atlantic View is being sold by Pat Maguire Properties, The Square, Skibbereen. Tel 028 22822, patmaguireproperties.com.
