Micheál McCarthy of West Cork Skies drone prints, who is in first year at Mount St Michael, handed over a cheque of €400 to Kate and Betty from West Cork Rapid Response (WCRR).Micheál, who lives in Skibbereen, attended Kilmeen National School, where his Dad Kenneth is the principal. So when WCRR visited the school over a year ago, Micheál was very impressed with the voluntary nature of the work they do, particularly as a few years previously, Dr Jason had helped his grandad Mick, from North Cork, but was visiting Micheál's family in West Cork at the time of his accident, so they all witnessed first-hand what a fantastic service WCRR offers to everyone. Micheál takes excellent photos with his drone and sold some of them at Christmas time, hence the donation to WCRR.
