SIR – American opposition politicians, the likes of Ms Nancy Pelosi, come to our shores as if they have unlimited power and spout errant nonsense to our gullible politicans in the Dail, where the hokum is lapped up.

Hilarious stuff altogether to watch on television, while the third most powerful woman in the world or on Mars or something, gives us ‘sound guarantees’ with added extras on things which are entirely remote from Brexit and on matters pertaining from there.
There is no danger of current arrangements being jettisoned when small things of the border are spoken of, save from a ridiculous ‘backstop’ thing, which even in the short term becomes meaningless and problematic to everyone, north and south. Look out everybody, the pointless Nancy with the giant ego is on the prowl and being congratulated on her brilliant command of the English language ... and she has bozo Bono backing her up and by his presence in the chambers giving Britain their come-uppance. What a circus we are.
Are you all forgetting she in not in control of any real power position going forward on the Brexit thing? Trump can trump her and the so-called Democrats at will ... because he is the real President of the US.
