How Arabs treat each other

SIR – Can Daniel Teegan, Archon or any of your correspondents indicate an Arab state which is as ‘re-integrated Palestine affording equal rights to all who live there regardless of religion or ethnicity’?

While only the mythical Palestine bird in the bush can behave is such a liberal manner to all its subjects and citizens it is not surprising that Israel refuses to budge while Syria, Iraq and Libya currently demonstrate how Arabs treat each other never mind those of other religions and ethnicities. As I am over 73, I remember how before 1967 Arab comments about Israel were as impolite as now and how coached Arab students on campus in best inter-war dictatorship style could not speak a sentence without insulting epithets to each concept.
