GARDAI are investigating an incident in Dunmanway in the early hours of Saturday morning, in which a man was injured in an alleged stabbing in the town.
A male in his early 40s was injured in an assault on Kilbarry Road, Dunmanway between the hours of 5am – 7am today (Saturday January 10).
Gardai attended the scene and discovered that the man received an injury to his face and was then removed to CUH for treatment.
There have been no arrests and the matter is under investigation, the gardai confirmed.
