FARMERS who employ casual labour on their farms should be aware that an important change in the tax system, as it affects them, is about to take place.
All farmers will be required to comply with the new arrangements from January 1st.
On Tuesday night, September 11th, Sinead Sweeney from the Revenue Commissioners will attend the monthly meeting of West Cork IFA in the Parkway Hotel, Dunmanway, beginning at 8.30pm.
She will give a talk on the new system and host a questions and answer session.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the new arrangements and everyone is welcome to attend.
Other issues of interest to farmers will also be covered at the meeting.
