Could your town take the Town of the Month crown

RTÉ has launched a competition to find the Today Show Town of the Month.

The popular afternoon show, which is hosted by Maura Derrane and Daithi O Se, is asking people and communities to rally together and send them a video telling them what’s so special about where they live.

They want participants to explain why their town should be named ‘Today show Town of the Month’.

Once they’ve picked a winner, actress Mary McEvoy (pictured) and the Today Show team will visit the winning town to film all the goings-on in the community. For example, what is your area doing for Patrick’s Day?

Have you something quirky in the pipeline? The season of the Cork-based show will finish on April 24^th, so there will be a winning town every month of February, March and April.
