The awards honour volunteers and groups dedicated to caring for Ireland’s marine life and shores.
The winners will be revealed at Dublin’s Gibson Hotel on December 5th, International Volunteer Day.
Around 250 guests, including community leaders and volunteers, are expected to attend the awards ceremony, which will feature panels on marine conservation.
Bronagh Moore, Clean Coasts Programme Manager, said: ‘Community groups and volunteers are the heartbeat of Clean Coasts.
These nominations celebrate the incredible spirit and dedication driving local coastal care across the country.’
The awards scheme began in 2006 as the Clean Coasts Merit Awards with a single category.
Since then, the programme has expanded significantly and now involves over 2,500 groups and 45,000 volunteers across the country.
