Guaranteed Irish has launched a new nationwide campaign at Cork Airport, encouraging citizens and visitors alike to support local.

Guaranteed Irish Month calls on consumers to ‘Look out for the G’ and support businesses that support Ireland.

As part of the month-long initiative, the national symbol will be showcased prominently across retail, forecourts and transport hubs, celebrating the companies behind the licence.

The campaign, which was launched at Cork Airport, will recognise the impact that choosing Irish products can have on jobs, communities and Ireland’s economic future.

CEO of Guaranteed Irish, Bríd O’Connell, outlined that Cork Airport was a fitting place to launch the initiative, as it is ‘a gateway that connects Ireland to the world.’

Seventy-five per cent of members say the licence has contributed positively to their bottom line, which is clear evidence that consumers actively support businesses carrying the ‘G’. Meanwhile, 93% of consumers agree that the symbol signals support for local businesses and communities.

Businesses with a Guaranteed Irish licence must meet strict criteria and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to job creation, community investment and long-term growth in Ireland.

Collectively, Guaranteed Irish members provide more than 150,000 jobs nationwide. In 2025, they contributed €14.52 billion to the domestic economy, with combined global revenues of €52.45 billion.
