SKIBBEREEN takes centre stage this Christmas as Skibbereen founded production company www.Heritage.ie delivers the brand-new promo for RTÉ’s Late Late Toy Show, and two Skibbereen natives, Alyssia and Eva Long, feature proudly in the nationwide campaign.
The much-anticipated trailer, which premiered during Six One News on RTÉ One, blasts viewers into Mission Control, where host Patrick Kielty and his team of Toy Show astronauts prepare for their biggest mission yet: making sure the magic of the Toy Show reaches children from Cork to Mars.

And for anyone wondering what Cork and The Prodigy have in common, the answer, fittingly, is this very promo.
The advert features 'Captain Cork', played by Kabin Crew's Clara O'Riordan-Cummins, leading the charge and making sure every last detail is in shipshape.
The advert was directed by Heritage’s own JAK (Jo Guthrie) and produced by Gráinne Dwyer & Zoë Brennan-Whitmore alongside the Heritage team.
Line production was led by Grace Cotter, with post-production by Jennifer Connolly.
The project also brought in an impressive roster of post partners including Penco Post, Freefolk London, STITCH Editing London, and Scimitar Sound, while RTÉ’s in-house crew contributed production design by Marianne Dunlevy.
This year’s Toy Show also marks a milestone for accessibility.
For the first time ever on RTÉ, Live Audio Description will be available during the broadcast.
Live Irish Sign Language interpretation (ISL) will also be provided on the RTÉ News Channel and RTÉ Player, ensuring that the Toy Show’s magic can be shared universally.
The 60-second trailer sets the tone for what promises to be a heart-warming, joy-filled evening for families across Ireland and beyond.
As the nation prepares its cosiest pyjamas and mugs of hot chocolate, the countdown begins.
The Late Late Toy Show airs on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player at 9:35pm on Friday, 5 December.
