AIRLINE Norwegian is celebrating a significant birthday with flights from Irish destinations – including Cork – to the US for €99 each way, although there are some restrictions on travel times.

The flights go on sale at midnight tonight as the low-cost airline Norwegian celebrates its 15th birthday this weekend.

The fares include six routes from Republic of Ireland and Belfast, with the sale lasting three weeks, starting today until September 18th, subject to availability.  The sale covers travel dates from 16th October 2017 until 16th March 2018.

The fares apply to flights from Cork, Shannon and Dublin to Providence Airport, serving the Boston and New England areas, and the €99 flights are also available from Shannon and Dublin to Stewart International Airport, serving New York. The fares are subject to availability and exclude flights at weekends, or during school and public holidays.

Restrictions and baggage fees apply. Passengers can book at www.norwegian.com/uk. September marks the 15th anniversary since Norwegian first started low-cost domestic flights in Scandinavia in 2002.

Norwegian is now the world’s 6th largest low-cost airline,  flying over 500 routes to more than 150 global destinations.
