ADT’s (Alan Tobin) newest single ‘Myself & Me’ is a brand new collaboration with Elly O’Keeffe and which is being released on Friday March 13th.
The Ardfield native – who is also a member of alt-folk trio LOW Mountain – has teamed up with London-based singer Elly O’Keeffe for his latest single, which will appear on ADT’s new album ‘Mountain Common’ which will be released on May 15th, his third as a solo artist.
The new single emerged from the depths of a conversation between two friends in a West London café.

Speaking to The Southern Star, Alan said that he was after a challenging year during which he had found himself digging deep inside his heart and his past when he say with Elly that day.
‘It all spilled out that afternoon – the melody, the words and the energy – and over the next few months we chipped away at it to eventually reveal ‘Myself & Me’, the song that was always there.’

Elly said that the song is all about talking to your inner child. ‘Working with Alan, it felt very natural to open up about some of the most intimate thoughts and feeling I had about my growth as a person. The song focuses on the realisation that after a certain amount of life experience you need the vulnerable part of yourself to come to light so you can progress and be happy, no matter how hard it may be to face sometimes.
She added that it was great experience writing such a personal song with a close, dear friend like Alan.
To coincide with his new album release in May, Alan will also be touring both Ireland and the UK in support of it.
