JOE Carroll's Cork will host Kildare (Sunday, January 25th) and Galway (Sunday, February 1st) in the opening two rounds of the Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1 in 2026.
Newly promoted after coming second in Division 2 in 2025, Cork will look to build on that momentum when they compete in the top tier.
The opening game against Kildare will be tricky against an improving Lilywhites, who beat Armagh to get to the All-Ireland quarter-finals last year.

The Rebels host Division 2 champions Galway in round two in a rematch of the league final in Croke Park last April, which Cork lost 2-8 to 1-5.
A trip to Armagh is up next on Sunday, February 8th, before another away tie against Munster rivals and Division 1 champions Kerry on Sunday, February 22nd.
Two more home games follow against Waterford (Sunday, March 1st) and Meath (Saturday, March 21st) before their final game away to All-Ireland champions Dublin on Sunday, March 29th.
The league final will take place on Saturday, April 11th in Parnell Park in Dublin and Cork will look to make it to that stage.
