THE Cork hurlers will face Waterford in their National Hurling League Division 1A opener in Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday, January 25th.
The Ben O’Connor era will begin competitively with a home game after he replaced Pat Ryan as Rebels’ boss in the off-season. The game will act as the second of a double-header involving the Cork footballers’ game with Cavan.
Cork are defending league champions too and will want to start their title defence on the right foot. Their second game sees them travel to Galway on Sunday, February 1st before a highly anticipated home game against Tipperary on Saturday February 7th.

That sees a repeat of the 2025 All-Ireland final, which Cork fell short in by 3-27 to 1-18.
Back-to-back away games against Kilkenny and Limerick follow on Sunday, March 1st and Saturday, March 7th respectively before their final game sees Cork host Offaly on Saturday, March 21st.
The top two in this Division contest the league final, which will take place in April.
