GLENGARRIFF native Niamh Cotter will line out in the AIB All-Ireland Senior LGFA Championship semi-final this Sunday, as her adopted club Kilmacud Crokes from Dublin host St Ergnats, Moneyglass of Antrim (2pm).

The former Cork player starts at half-forward, and hit 1-6 in their Leinster final win over Wicklow’s Tinahely as Crokes won 5-13 to 1-8. Cotter also scored a crucial penalty in their provincial semi-final win over Meath’s Dunshaughlin and chipped in with 0-2 in their county final over St Sylvester’s.

The West Cork woman swapped West Cork for Dublin in 2020 and has been a key part to the Kilmacud side since and has shown her inter-county quality. Crokes are going for their first All-Ireland title, and will look to make a second final in-a-row. They lost to Kilkerrin Clonberne of Galway last year (0-13 to 0-9).
