FOUR Cork hurlers were included on the PwC All-Stars Hurling 2025 team, including three first-time winners.
Inniscarra’s Seán O’Donoghue, Castlemartyr’s Ciaran Joyce and St Finbarrs’ Brian Hayes all picked up their first All-Stars at the RDS, Dublin last Friday evening. It’s a third award for Charleville midfielder Darragh Fitzgibbon, who also won awards in 2018 and 2024.
Tipperary led the way with seven All-Stars in the form of Rhys Shelly, Robert Doyle, Eoghan Connolly, Ronan Maher, Jake Morris, Andrew Ormond and John McGrath.

The other spots in the team went to Kilkenny’s Huw Lawlor and Martin Keoghan, Galway’s Cathal Mannion and Dublin’s Cian O’Sullivan.
O’Sullivan has strong links to the Beara. His dad Traolach Terry hails from Garnish, and Cian is also first cousins to Cork ladies footballer Áine Terry O'Sullivan.
The Hurler of the Year award went to John McGrath of Tipperary while his teammate Darragh McCarthy won the Young Hurler of the Year accolade.
