THE Clona Milk Carbery U21 hurling championships are up and running, and there are some tasty ties to look forward to.
In the U21A championship, Newcestown face Ibane Gaels (Barryroe/Argideen Rangers) in the semi-final this Saturday (2pm) in Ahiohill, with the winners playing Bandon in the final.
In the U21B championship, Kilbree face Ahán Gaels (Diarmuid Ó Mathuna/St Mary’s) in the semi-final this Sunday in Ballinascarthy (2pm), after Kilbree beat Owen Gaels 0-19 to 1-9 last weekend in Enniskeane.

On the other side of the draw, Clonakilty come up against Cill Mochomóg (Bantry/St Colum’s) on Friday (8pm) in Ballydehob with the winners facing Kilbrittain on Saturday, 15th (2pm) in Enniskeane.
In the U21C grade, St James and Dohenys battle it out on Saturday (2pm) in Clonakilty for the right to face Randal Óg in the decider. Randals beat O’Donovan Rossa in the semi-final in Clonakilty, 3-11 to 2-3.
The Bandon Co-op Carbery Junior C Football Championship sees a semi-final clash between Castlehaven and Carbery Rangers on Sunday in Skibbereen (2.45pm).
