Draw for South West U21 A football championship has been made

REIGNING South West U21 A football champions Clonakilty will take on Bantry Blues in a quarter-final of this year’s competition that is expected to start in early March.

Clonakilty are going for the four-in-a-row at this level, having dominated this championship in recent seasons.

2015 beaten finalists Castlehaven will meet Newcestown, while Dohenys take on O’Donovan Rossa in other quarter-finals.

Another quarter-final sees Carbery Rangers await the winner of the first round game between Kilmeen and Ilen Rovers.

Round one: Kilmeen v Ilen Rovers

Quarter-finals: Bantry Blues v Clonakilty; Carbery Rangers v Kilmeen/Ilen Rovers; Dohenys v O’Donovan Rossa; Newcestown v Castlehaven.
