HERE is a sneak peak of the special centenary medals that will be handed out to the winners of this Sunday’s Carbery JAHC final between Ballinascarthy and Kilbree.

This is a very special year for the division as it celebrates its centenary, and a number of high-profile events are marking this important milestone, including the gala ball in the Westlodge Hotel in Bantry on November 29th.

The Carbery board has also commissioned special centenary medals for the winners of the division’s marquee competitions and these will be presented on a once-off basis to mark the centenary year. 

Bal and Kilbree are first up and meet in the junior A hurling final this Sunday, while the JAFC final between Kilmacabea and St Mary’s takes place in Skibbereen on Sunday, October 26th.
