BALLINASCARTHY are bidding for back-to-back county camogie titles.
One year on from winning the premier junior championship, Bal have powered into the county intermediate final where they take on Sliabh Rua this Sunday, 19th, at Castle Road, 4pm throw-in.
Hard work, team work and home work are the keystones to this ongoing Bal success story, with each of the players giving 100 percent commitment, both at training sessions and matches.

The hard work has paid off and now their big day is Sunday, and a chance to win the county intermediate title in the team’s first season at this grade.
Led by experienced team captain Moira Barrett, Bal’s pathway to the final included wins against Douglas (1-17 to 0-10), Sarsfields 2 (0-10 to 0-7), Newtownshandrum (2-6 to 0-7), Kilbrittain/Timoleague (1-15 to 0-11), a draw with Valley Rovers (0-6 apiece) and a one-point loss (0-15 to 2-8) to Sliabh Rua.
