Sir Tim Laurence, chairman of the RNLI’s operations committee, visited three lifeboat stations in West Cork today: Courtmacsherry, Union Hall and Baltimore.

Sir Laurence is a retired Royal Navy officer and the second husband of Princess Anne, the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

Our video shows him being greeted by Paddy O'Donovan, chairman of Union Hall RNLI and John Kelleher, Union Hall’s lifeboat operations manager.
