SINGER Songwriter Evan Murray and singer Niamh Kirby will both be on the Ray D'Arcy Show on Saturday night, after their recent duet went viral.
The two recorded a wonderful version of Ed Sheerin's hit Castle on the Hill in Niamh's bedroom, which so far has been watched over 129,000 times on Facebook.
Of course we – at the Southern Star – spotted Evan's potential years ago - as did the judges of the Timoleague Star Search who awarded him their top prize in August 2013.
Two years later he took the top prize in the X Factor Dunmanway competition.
And he also was the first musician to appear in our popular Southern Star Sessions, when he recorded a stunning version of his hero Ed Sheeran's Grade 8 in our Southern Star studio.
The former Maria Immaculata student can do no wrong right now it seems, and tonight's TV appearance is bound to be the first of many. His 'original' fans here at the Southern Star wish both Evan and Niamh all the best on Saturday - and in their future careers.
Watch the talented singer, who wowed the judges, in his Southern Star debut below.
