Visitor restrictions continue at Bantry Hospital due to Covid outbreak

Bantry General Hospital said visiting will be decreased to one visitor per patient per day for the next week due to a Covid outbreak.

Hospital management say they will continue to monitor the situation daily and the restrictions will be reviewed after a week.

Management said it regrets the distress or inconvenience such restrictions cause for patients and their loved ones, however, these actions are necessary given the increased circulation of Covid-19 within the hospital.
