A MYSTERY shopping firm is putting a call-out to students in Cork who might want to earn extra cash.

The firm, based in Dundalk, says that at this time of year, many students sign up to help supplement their incomes or grants.

‘With students now back at college since last month, mystery shopping is a great way to earn extra money – whether for books or partying,’ said Joanne Lynch of Customer Perceptions.

All that’s needed is a good grasp of written and spoken English, along with good observation skills. Students also need a real understanding of what constitutes good customer service and the ability to recognise it when they see it.

Times are flexible and each job is relatively short, taking anywhere between 10 and 15 minutes. After each job, the student fills their findings into the online form and presses ‘send’.
