WEST Cork entrepreneurs, Conor Buckley, Robert Carpenter, Seamus White and Ger O’Shea – founders of leading web development company Granite Digital – are behind a partnership worth €2m in turnover that will see them joining forces with Enhance Multimedia of Dublin.

Founded by the West Cork foursome in Skibbereen in 2008, Granite Digital has grown to a team of 30 following the latest partnership, yet still maintains an office in Skibbereen, as well as their headquarters in Little Island.

No strangers to combining web businesses, Granite Digital very successfully teamed up with another Cork company, Digital Crew, in 2011. In 2013, they also took over the portfolio of Fireball Media, thereby establishing Granite as the largest specialist digital agency in Munster.

In the latest partnership, Granite has signed an agreement with web firm, Enhance Multimedia, which has paved the way for the creation of one of Ireland’s largest web design, development and digital marketing agencies.

The combined businesses will maintain offices in Dublin and Cork, followed by the imminent establishment of a presence in Galway, and will offer a wider range of products and services to clients of both companies.

Overall, the combined businesses expect to top €5m in turnover by 2018 with the team offering a full range of digital services to an impressive list of clients, including The Southern Star.
