UPDATE: Man charged over four burglaries in Macroom

Macroom Garda Station.

A MAN in his 20s who was arresed in the early hours of this morning in relation to a burglary at a shop in Macroom has been charged. 

He has also been charged in relation to three other burglaries that took place in the Macroom area between last night and early this morning. The man is due to appeat before Cork City District Court this afternoon.

Gardaí had arrested him following a burglary at a shop on Main Street, in the early hours of this (Friday) morning.

Shortly after 3am, Gardaí received a report of a burglary that had occurred on Main Street.
