Man charged with cannabis possession

A 41-YEAR-old man charged in connection with the discovery of over €200,000 worth of cannabis at a house in Ballymakeera on Thursday evening has been remanded in custody to appear at Clonakilty District Court next Tuesday. 
Arthur Kozakiewicz of 1 Chapel View, Ballymakeera appeared at a special sitting of Bandon District Court this morning and faced two charges,  of possessing cannabis as well as possessing cannabis for the purpose of sale or supply contrary to Section 3 and Section 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Det Gda John McCarthy of Bandon Garda Station told the court that he arrested the accused on January 12th and read out the charges, cautioned him and he made no reply to each charge. Solicitor Myra Dinneen represented the accused at the court sitting.
