THERE’S been a significant upgrading of public toilet facilities in Dunmanway.
Cork County Council had received a number of complaints of anti-social activity interfering with users of the toilets and the users of the car park by people who were gathering under the eaves of the building.
A statement from the local authority said: ‘The area under the eaves was closed off to prevent this activity as part of renovations and upgrading, including painting, which were carried out to the facility by the Council. The toilets were closed for a period while the works were being carried out. The toilets are now open to the public.’
