Constance McKenna frequently hosts classes throughout West Cork with the intention of enhancing community spirit, fundraising, combating social isolation, and creating a fun environment for adults in which they can develop their art.
Deputy mayor of Clonakilty Yousuf Janabali, Pascal Walsh and John O’Carroll at the Irish Red Cross Clonakilty presentation night where Pascal received a Lifetime Achievement Award for fifty years of continuous service.
The Clonakilty cup for best gross was won by Kay and Mike Russell and was presented by Colm Quirke (centre), president of Clonakilty Bridge Club.

The Irish Draught Horse Breeders Association (IDHBA) held their annual awards recently in Athlone. Susan McCarthy from the Cork/Kerry Branch was honoured with the prestigious Service to the Breed award in recognition of her dedication and contribution to the Irish Draught Horse. Susan was presented with her award by Brain Murphy, IDHBA chairman, at the annual celebration.
