THERE will be a very West Cork flavour to one of Britain’s best-loved New Year’s Eve shows this year.
Bandon broadcaster Graham Norton will be joined on his famous red sofa by a host of guests, including Skibbereen rowers Paul and Gary O’Donovan.
The Skibbereen duo, who won silver in the Olympics, have been in talks with Graham’s producers for several weeks.
It now appears they will definitely be joining Graham who will interview them during the high-ratings show, which will also feature Kerryman Michael Fassbender.
Fassbender will be joined on the sofa by actors James McAvoy and Marion Cotillard.
Graham’s New Year’s Eve show is always one of the highlights of the television year as it usually turns out to be a riotous night of fun and frolics on the famous couch. It’s a great coup for the Irish rowers to get a spot on the hugely popular show.
