A JEWELLER who was previously based in Kinsale is making her mark in New York.
Mary Enright exhibited her designs as part of the recent New York City Jewellery Week, which ran from November 12th-18th, and featured ground-breaking exhibitions, educational lectures, explorative workshops, exclusive tours, and unique collaborations led by the best and brightest businesses, brands, jewellers, artists, and museums.
Mary showed her work at Brooklyn Metal Works as part of ‘Anonymous Brooklyn’, an installation and exhibition accumulated and arranged by guest participants.
She trained in St John’s College in Cork city. ‘Having the opportunity to be part of New York City Jewellery Week was a big highlight of my career,’ she said, adding: ‘I have had the privilege of attending some preview events and am so impressed by the curation of the exhibitions, the calibre of the work on show and the support and encouragement I have personally received.’
Her flagship store in Kinsale was simply called ME where she created and sold her award-winning jewellery. She’s also held solo and group exhibitions and had her jewellery showcased in magazines beside Dior, Chanel and Michael Kors.
