Man (30) is ‘critical' after serious assault in Clonakilty

GARDAÍ investigating an assault that occurred outside a pub on Pearse Street in Clonakilty last Saturday are appealing for witnesses.

Gardaí say the incident took place shortly before 12.30am.  

A man, aged 30 years, suffered serious injuries during the incident and was taken to Cork University Hospital where his condition is now being described as ‘critical’.
