A WISH came true for three-year old Eva Aniulyte who got to meet Mickey Mouse and plenty of princesses in Disneyland Paris recently.

Her parents, Luiza and Mantas, said: ‘It was a truly memorable trip, and we would like to sincerely thank Skibbereen Lions Club for their support, Siobhan and all the staff at West Cork Travel for helping to organise it, and the people of Skibbereen for their incredible kindness and support.’

Eva is currently suffering from a serious illness and the community has rallied round to help her and her family. The couple said they would like to encourage people to come and enjoy the sight of Michael Hodnett and Martin O’Callaghan having their heads shaved at McCarthy’s Bar in Skibbereen on Friday, February 12th next.

It is a fundraiser for ‘Eva’s Hope’ but with an 80s disco, food and a fantastic raffle, it promises to be a great night out.
