AFTER ten incredible seasons serving the culinary needs of the people of Kinsale and beyond, The Supper Club closed its doors for the very last time on Sunday night.

The popular restaurant, run by Tom and Grainne Kay, opened in March 2016 but relocated to their current premises on Main Street in the centre of the town in April
2018.

The couple made the announcement online citing that it marks the end of an era for The Supper Club in Kinsale but indicated they are already planning their next adventure.

‘After 10 incredible seasons, being listed among Ireland’s Top 100 restaurants, moving locations and navigating all the ups and downs (including the challenges of COVID) we are closing our doors for now,’ they posted.

‘It’s been an amazing journey and we truly couldn’t have done any of it without our customers and staff. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our local friends, visitors from afar, our incredible suppliers and most importantly our amazing staff, past and present.’

They said their hard-working team have been ‘the heart and soul’ of The Supper Club.

‘We couldn’t have done any of this without your hard work, dedication, and passions and we are so grateful for everything you’ve done.’

They said they are already planning their ‘next adventure’ and intend to open something soon in their current location on Main Street.

‘Stay tuned for what’s next and thank you again for being part of our journey.’
