THE HSE has lifted visiting restrictions at a unit in CUH but restrictions are now in place at the Mercy Hospital, due to flu outbreaks.

The HSE has today issued the following statement as a result:

'Restrictions at the Acute Mental Health Unit on the grounds of the CUH have been lifted. Visiting can take place to the unit as normal. The HSE wishes to thank everyone for their cooperation while these very necessary restrictions were in place. Visiting restrictions are now in place at St Michael’s unit, a HSE-run facility in the Mercy University Hospital. Restrictions are in place across the building due to a high number of influenza presentations to the Mercy University Hospital.'
