A ROSSCARBERY hotel is inviting all its past brides and grooms to return on June 23rd to relive their wedding day as part of the hotel’s 20th birthday celebrations.
The Celtic Ross, which has hosted more than 800 weddings since 1997, will welcome back past couples for an evening of fine dining, music and fun to relive their special day.
It is expected that more than 100 couples will return to the hotel and are being encouraged to get in to the spirit of the celebrations by donning their wedding dresses and suits one more time! The event will raise
funds for local charities.
General manager Neil Grant said that since 1997 the hotel has seen hundreds of couples spend what is for many, the happiest day of their lives there.
‘From Disney and movie themed weddings to music festival weddings with wellies and even vegan weddings, we have seen and successfully hosted all of them, so this anniversary event is our way of saying “thank you” to our past couples and celebrating their marriages and our birthday all together. Brides and grooms can also get in to the real spirit of it all by getting another wear out of their dresses and suits if they wish and taking to the floor again for a set of first dance songs.
‘The evening will be a fun event, celebrating wedding styles from the 90s 00s and 10s and we look forward to a great event. minus the worry of any bad best man speeches or runaway brides,’ said Neil.
The hotel also hopes to raise some funds for local charities on the night. If you have celebrated your wedding with the hotel, you can contact wedding co-ordinator Nicola at [email protected]
