A PUC Fada with a difference is one of many fun activities taking place during the Kilbrittain Festival, from Thursday August 3rd to Sunday August 13th.

The High-Tech Puc Fada, in the Community Ground on Saturday August 12th, will mean that the puck distance will be measured within seconds and the event is open to both juniors and adults.

This year's festival programme is once again jam-packed with family activities and it kicks off this Thursday August 3rd with a historical visit to Kilshinihan Church, where mass will be celebrated there for the first time in 700 years.

This will be followed by a historical talk on the Church and the Mass Rock there.

A quiz night taking place in three different locations simultaneously also promises to be an entertaining event.

Other events taking place during the festival include a 5km family fun run/ walk, car treasure hunt, 5-a-side soccer blitz, harvest working day and the ever-popular children and adult fancy dress parade which will now take place on Saturday August 5th.
